Blocky

For runners

Run first. Everything else second.

Pick the run and the apps that wait for it: the one you scroll, or one you'd miss by lunch. They stay blocked until the run lands in Apple Health, then they're back on their own.

Nothing to log

Record the run the way you already do. Strava, your Apple Watch, Garmin, Nike Run Club, whatever writes to Apple Health. The moment the workout lands there, your apps unblock. You don't open Blocky, you don't type anything, and a run can't be ticked off by hand. Apple Health has to show it.

Set the goal in the unit you think in: minutes, a distance or a step count. Thirty minutes, five kilometers, ten thousand steps.

Halfway unblocks some. Done unblocks the rest.

Add a milestone on the way to the goal and pick which apps it unblocks. Two kilometers unblocks Messages and Maps. The full run unblocks Instagram and TikTok. You choose the order, and the phone fills back in as you go.

A rest day is a rest day

Set the habit for the days you run. On the days you don't, nothing is blocked and nothing is owed. A rest day is part of the training, not a loophole.

Your crew

Start a quest with the people you run with. Most minutes wins, the loser buys lunch, and everyone's minutes come from their own watch, so nobody can round up. Miss a day and a friend can send you a streak cover. One day is one day, not a verdict.

A bad day

Need an app before you've run? A gem unblocks it for 15 minutes. It costs you something, it's on the record, and your friends can see you spent it. That's the difference between a limit and a decision.

Seven days free, then one plan

Everything, at either price: $14.99 a month, or $99.99 a year. Apple takes the payment, so we never see your card, and you're not charged until the seven days are up. iPhone, iOS 26.5 or later.
